I plan to be a Drama teacher in the future. I took Drama in S3, National 5 Drama in S4 and Higher Drama in S5 to work towards this.
Drama is such a multi-layered subject that offers so many opportunities. There is no limit to what it can be and no limit to what you can become if you take it. The roles you take on help you understand different characters which helps you gain a better understanding of people and how to build relationships.
It also helps you gain a greater understanding of yourself. It also helps you to think more about life and to voice your own opinions. Drama is whatever you as a performer, director, stage manager, or any of multiple other roles in related to the subject, make of it.
