Course description

Studying Fashion & Textile technology course will allow learners to combine theory with practical skills. Learners will demonstrate relevant knowledge and understanding, and apply this to planning, making and evaluating fashion/textile items to an appropriate standard. Skills using sewing machines, tools and equipment safely and correctly will be taught as well as textile construction techniques and technologies. An understanding of factors that influence fashion/textile choices and trends will also be developed.
